"If location matters then this hotel has a leg up. Two football fields from Rome's main subway terminal means quick movement around this very crowded city and the Mediterraneo offers this. Riding the sub here is the same as London,Chicago or New York, in fact it is easier because there are only two color lines to follow. The hotel is a typical old world hotel, high ceiling, marble every where, open windows and slow air conditoning. The front desk staff needs help in the area of people skills but heck, this is Italy so grin and enjoy it"
